After all your responses to the e-safety questionnaire, we (mostly Miss Brady) have been working hard in putting together all the information that you might need to help keep up to date with what’s going on in the world that the children experience online and, ultimately, keep them as safe and happy as possible.
We’ve looked at your questions, and the the results of our children’s survey too, and come up with what we think might answer them. Please have a look at our website https://chalkwellhall.co.uk/e-safety/. We’ll send out links on facebook and twitter too for easy access.
Red Nose Day was very well supported as always and plenty of money has been donated for this very good cause, well done all!
After all the sporting success we have celebrated recently it would be greedy to ask for more – but more we have. Our Year 5&6 girls completed their last football league match against Westborough Primary 3-0 and, in doing so, won the league! This means they will go on to play in the champion of champions final – hopefully at Roots Hall. A fantastic achievement earned through hard work while displaying a superb positive team spirit in every match – great work team!
Our table tennis team were in action at Friars this week and they too performed fantastically well winning with an overall team score of 9-2.
Our boys were also in football action at Thorpedene. Two very hard fought matches were played out and both ended with identical results, 4-2 wins all round.
Thanks to all of you who attended the uniform sale earlier this week, the proceeds from which raised a further £150 for our charity.
As mentioned last week, we have set up a PTA website to promote and sell tickets / wristbands for some of our PTA fundraising activities. Tickets for Go Bonkers, which will be available from early next week, will all be sold online so please ensure you register as soon as possible using the link below: https://www.pta-events.co.uk/chalkwellhallpta
We have set up the events website to include a business directory where we would like to support, promote and provide some extra exposure to local businesses, particularly those owned or run by parents at our schools. To help with the running costs of the site we would ask those of you who would like to be added onto the directory for a £25 per annum donation to the PTA. If you would like to promote your business in this way please email: email@example.com
