PTA Events – Go Bonkers Tickets

As mentioned in the school newsletter over the last couple of weeks, the PTA have set up a new “Events and Ticket Sales” website aimed at streamlining much of the PTA administration for both ourselves and the schools.

The website, which can be accessed via the link below is where you can now purchase “Go Bonkers” wristbands (see details below) – so please go online, register today and purchase your required wristbands.

Go Bonkers

The ever popular after school inflatable fundraiser is returning to the school playground this year on Friday, 17 May 2019 where children will have unlimited access to a large selection of inflatables for the duration of their chosen session. The times for each session are as follows:

Early session – starts at 15:30 and ends at 17:30

Late session – starts at 18:00 and ends at 20:00

All children attending MUST be accompanied by an adult for the entire session and sensible clothes and socks must be worn. Entry to each session is only possible by purchasing an event wristband for each child which MUST be worn to the event. We are delighted to announce that the price remains the same as last year at:

Pre-school aged children – £5

School aged children – £8

Wristbands will be sold on a first come, first served basis and places are limited so, to avoid disappointment, please go online and book your places as soon as possible. The final booking date, subject to places still being available, will be 19 April 2019.

All online bookings require the name and class of each child attending as wristbands will be sent home in advance of the event, via the school, to the first child named on each reservation. You are welcome to purchase wristbands for younger siblings who are not yet attending either school but, in this case, please select “Younger Sibling” from the bottom of the dropdown class list during the payment process.

To avoid additional administration for both the PTA and the schools, we would like to sell all the Go Bonkers wristbands through the Events website so please try, wherever possible, to purchase your wristbands in this way.

If this is really not possible then please send in a written request via the school receptions enclosing the correct payment (cheques made payable to “Chalkwell Hall Schools PTA”), the session required and each attending child’s name and class details in an envelope marked FOA “PTA Go Bonkers” However, if the maximum spaces available are sold out online by the time your written request is received then it will have to be returned.

Volunteers – one essential requirement for the event to proceed is that we need volunteers to supervise and ensure the safety of the children on the inflatables as well as assist on the PTA refreshment stalls. We need approximately 25 parent / carer volunteers for each session and so request your help. In previous years, we have received fantastic support for this fun filled event and so if you are able to help please click to volunteer where prompted on the Events website when purchasing your wristbands and we will then contact all volunteers to confirm arrangements.

Refreshments – the usual refreshments will be available to purchase at the event including drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), hot dogs, ice cream, crepes and waffles, candyfloss and popcorn.
