Newsletter – 20th September 2019

Another busy week ends with Year 5 and lots of staff heading off to Brentwood Nuclear Races today. This is a fantastic team building event that we take part in at the beginning of Year 5 to help develop teamwork, communication and resilience (and also to have fun and get muddy!). It’s always a great success and I’m sure today will be just as brilliant. Pictures to follow!

On the theme of team building and developing resilience, Year 6 will be out and about all next week taking on challenges and trying new things, either locally or further afield, and we look forward to seeing what they can all achieve.

We are now collecting ‘Aldi’s Kit for Schools’ stickers, in Lower and Upper school. For each completed poster (300 stickers), we will receive a sports equipment kit and the chance to win £20,000! To obtain stickers, you need to spend £30 or more in any Aldi store on each visit; they are issued at the checkout.

We welcome volunteers in school, particularly those who can give a bit of time to help listen to children read. If you can give a bit of regular time, please get in touch with the office team.
