We are excited to announce that this Summer Chalkwell Hall Schools will be taking part in the Havens Hospice Hares About Town art trail!
We will be sponsoring and decorating a model of a hare which will be part of the family-friendly trail that will weave its way across Southend for nine weeks, commencing in July.
On the Friday 7th February 2020 we will be holding a non-school uniform day to raise money to fund this exciting project (which will raise further funds for the charity and is a fantastic opportunity for the children to display their contribution to the public) we are asking for the suggested donation of £1 for the non-uniform day.
Further information can be found here www.haresabouttown.co.uk. We will be sure to keep you updated on our project!
We are also aware of the plight of a local girl, Lily Wythe, who desperately needs to raise funds for treatment in America. We believe it is important for our school to support this local girl and therefore we have decided to share the donations raised on this non-uniform day with Lily’s ‘£1 Warriors’ Campaign. Further information regarding Lily’s story can be found here https://www.essexlive.news/news/essex-news/lilys-one-pound-warriors-full-3759534
We thank you in advance for your support and generosity.
