Customer Service Apprentice to start as soon as possible

You will be involved in the day-to-day activities of the school office and gain a valuable insight into the work of the school whilst obtaining a recognised qualification.

You will be providing administrative support to the School Business Manager and the office team and will be the first point of contact, face to face and on the telephone, to our parents, staff, children and visitors.

The position is diverse – you will be required to learn the school’s management information system, SIMs, which includes an on line payment system, dinner money and attendance modules.
You will also be required to provide first aid for the children.

The Light Bulb will deliver the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Standard.  You will need to attend 4 workshops remotely via Zoom.  You will complete Functional Skills in maths
and English if required.

Midday Supervisor required to start as soon as possible.

This role is to lead and support throughout the lunchtime period, ensuring that all lunchtime staff are working together to provide the best care for our pupils.

You will be required to plan the lunchtime period, allocating staff and thinking of innovative ways to make lunchtime fun, safe and enjoyable for our pupils.

You will be expected to lead a team of midday assistants (MDAs), ensuring the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the midday break, in accordance with school policy, and under the direction of the Headteacher.

The hours of work are 11.30am to 1.30pm, Monday – Friday, term time only.  Salary is: from £9.94 per hour to £10.14 per hour (depending on experience)

Midday Assistants required to start as soon as possible.

We are looking to appoint reliable, friendly and motivated Midday Assistants to join our hardworking and valued lunchtime team.

The role will be to assist the children during lunchtime and to provide playground support and supervision, including basic medical care where necessary. You will be working both inside and outside the school building and you will need to be able to work effectively as part of a team, enjoy working with children and demonstrate organisation, patience & understanding. Training, including basic first aid, will be provided.

The hours are 7½ hours per week (11.45am – 1.15pm) each day, term time only.  Salary is: £9.74 per hour.
