Chalkwell Hall Junior School

Welcome message from the Headteacher

On behalf of the Governors, staff and children here at Chalkwell Hall Junior School, I would like to welcome you and thank you for visiting our website.

We are a community Junior school who pride ourselves on our warm and friendly atmosphere and seek to provide our pupils with the best education possible – one full of rich educational experiences and possibility. Our school motto is: ‘If we believe, we will achieve’. Our aim is to nurture, develop and prepare our students for the future and have sky high expectations of what they can achieve

Our highly skilled, caring and dedicated staff work together to ensure that children at Chalkwell Hall achieve their full potential. We work closely together with all of our parents and carers, to ensure that children in our school receive the best outcomes possible in their learning and personal development.

It is important to us that the children are happy, confident, resilient and enjoy their learning; achieving a high level of success across a range of subjects and making the most of all the opportunities we have to offer. We (staff and children) aim to be better every day by showing our core values which are: Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, Co-operation, Creativity and Enquiry. We ensure that all learning is purposeful and linked to children`s own experiences so they are engaged, challenged and become highly effective problem solvers and communicators.

Please do call us on 01702 478570 to arrange a visit, we would love to show you round.

School Notice!

Chalkwell Hall Junior School is now over one hundred years old. It is a building that stands proud in the local area. During our centenary year in 2008-2009 we were overwhelmed by the number of ex pupils, aged between 80 and those who had recently left, who returned with fond memories of their time at our school.
