Admissions

In the event of there not being enough places for all those who wish their children to be admitted to this school, the following criteria will be used in priority order:


  • Pupils who have an Educational Health Care plan naming the school concerned;
  • Pupils in public care;
  • Pupils who live in the catchment area served by the school and who have an older sibling attending the school;
  • Pupils who live in the catchment area served by the school;
  • Pupils who live outside the catchment area served by the school who have an older sibling attending the school;
  • Pupils who live outside the catchment area served by the school.


The Local Authority is the admissions authority for the school.

Primary, Infant and Junior dates as per the timetable below from the School Admissions Appeals Code are:

Offer day – 17 April 2023 (due to bank holidays 16  April has moved to next working day of 17 April)

On time submission of appeals – 15 May 2023 (appeals after this date will be heard in late sept)

On tie appeals must be heard by 19 July 2023

Late appeals – Late September/October 2023

As advised by the DfE we will make a general primary appeal form available on our website. We will forward any appeals received to you and would ask you to be mindful that the Department has requested Local Authorities to provide this to parents.


Secondary dates as per the timetable below from the School Admission Appeals Code are:

Offer day – 1  March 2023

On time submission of appeals – 29 March 2023 (appeals after this date will be heard in late sept)

On time appeals must be heard by 14 June 2023

Late appeals – Late September/October 2023

As advised by the DfE we will make a general secondary appeal form available on our website. We will forward any appeals received to you and would ask you to be mindful that the Department has requested Local Authorities to provide this to parents.
