Extended Schools

Introduction

Conkers Breakfast Club opened in January 2009, with the Conkers After School Club opening in September 2009. The clubs provide before and after school care for a number of children on a regular basis.

The number of children attending Conkers Clubs has risen steadily and both clubs are regularly fully booked.

The Breakfast Club can now cater for up to 80 children and After School Club up to 100 children and offer facilities and activities for 4 to 11 year olds.

The clubs have exclusive use of the school dining hall, the library and have access to the playground in fair weather, with outdoor play equipment and apparatus, as well as a wide range of indoor equipment and facilities.

Payment for the clubs can be made on line through SchoolPing for parents of Junior children. Parents of Infant children will need to pay by cheque, made payable to Chalkwell Hall Junior School, or with cash.
